As at the time of writing this (2018), I am 76 years old. My working background is in both corporate management and in small business; marketing and administration. I am still fit and well (“still kicking…”) and I am looking forward to many productive years ahead of me. Only problem is, how do I finance this?
Kicked in the Guts
Do you remember the 2009/10 financial crisis? Well, there I was, in the process of retiring, when suddenly the bottom fell out of my finances. I lost everything – a devastating kick in the guts. So, I had to keep working. By that time I was running my own business as a consultant to other small business operators. You know what that means, right? Yes – 80 hours a week with always the risk that the cash flow will dry up without notice next week. Scary stuff!
That’s no way to “retire”. Whatever happened to going off on a tour around the country with my wife in a camper van for 12 months? How come I had to give up buying my favorite cuts of meat? Why did I have to give up smoking cigars? (Oh, now I remember – that was for health reasons…) I had worked all my life. I figured I had earned a relaxing time to go off and do what I wanted to do.
But, no! It was not working out like that – at all. Ouch!
A Way Out
Then I discovered a way to make some additional money online. It was a way that was not too complicated and with which I could set up a passive income that I could build up over time. It’s not a “get-rich-quick” thing. It’s actually a sensible approach to tapping into the enormous potential that the internet presents to all of us; if only we knew how to tap into it.
Well, I’m here to tell you that there is a way to “tap into it”. And it’s a way that actually works. On top of that, you don’t even need to be an internet guru or even be all that tech-savvy. You just need to sit down and learn a series of steps to follow and it is all explained in great detail with patience and understanding.
My Mission Now
It seems to me that we are all living longer and the potential for retirees to suffer financial hardship does not seem to be fair. I would like to think that the ideas and solutions outlined on this website will give, not only hope, but actual and real financial help to my colleagues (in age).
If you are retired and “still kicking”, this may well be for you!
And, if you ever need a hand or have any questions, feel free to leave them below. I will be more than happy to respond as best I can.
All the best,
Neil I. Clark
